When we finally escaped the rain and cold weather in the mountains and arrived in Costa Adeje, Richard met us with snacks and a bottle of Ron Miel – traditional Canarian rum with honey. Really delicious stuff! Costa Adeje – another tourist town on the south coast of the island, with no interesting sights and full of places selling beer for only €1 a glass. But for us, this was an oasis of heat! We spent days strolling around the town, with no particular activities in mind and absorbing the sun. Evenings were spent enjoying Richard’s culinary masterpieces, drinking wine and meeting more of his friends. Nice! Only one exception to the lazy days – one Saturday we got up early and went on a hike connecting two of the mountain towns, Arona and Adeje. We’ll let the pictures do the talking ;)

Taigi kai iš lietaus ir šalčio atsibeldėme į Costa Adeje, Ričardas mūsų laukė su vaišėmis ir buteliu Ron Miel – tradicinis kanarietiškas romas su medumi. Tikras skanumėlis! Pati Costa Adeje – dar vienas turistinis miestelis pietinėje salos pakrantėje, kur vaizdai kameros neprašo, o alus kainuoja tik vieną eurą. Bet mums tai buvo šilumos oazė! Šliaužiojom sau be tikslo ir įsipareigojimų gatvėmis ir paplūdimiais ir džiaugėmės saule. Vakare Ričardas mus lepino savo kulinariniais perliukais ir dažnai vakaras baigdavosi prie butelio vyno su dar keletu Ričardo draugų. Smagu! Beje, vieną šeštadienį mes nepatingėjom ir įveikėm vieną ilgą, bet labai vaizdingą pasivaikščiojimą iš Aronos į Adeje. Ir čia jau nuotraukos kalba pačios už save ;)
