Hello summer!

We take off at midday, with the sun indicating the direction of our travel – south, directly south. 4.5 hours later, we land at Tenerife South Airport. This place is in the same time zone as Britain, but its in a completely different season. The sun seems to shine here every day and its seriously hot right from the start – you need sunblock for your 9am breakfast in the balcony. The first few days we laugh at all the … Continue reading

Two days and two nights in the Thar desert. Us two, our moms, 4 camels and two camelmen. We invite all of you to join us and participate in pint lifting. Attendance is mandatory! :) And if any of you are in Vilnius (it’s in Lithuania) on 14th December, we’re basically doing the same there, so totally come along. See you … Continue reading

Another sunny Sunday morning in Manali. We have slow breakfast in a cafe and go for a stroll to the original Manali village a little further up the hill from the main tourist hangout. Just 10 minutes later we are out of the area of fancy organic-everything cafes and bakeries, ambient / Shiva lounge / reggae music and many colourful lights. Instead, we’re surrounded by unique traditional Himachali wooden houses, cows slowly ruminating in the shade and local women crouching … Continue reading
